RainAhead is our new communal project with the Hanseatic city Luebeck and the university of applied sciences Luebeck for adjustment to climate change, supported by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. In the next three years an integrated planning and warning tool for heavy rain will be developed, which will be tested in two urban drainage areas in Luebeck. Since the 14th January 2013 it is possibe to have a look on the generated flood warning service for Hamburg (WaBiHa) in the internet.
